Three years studying photography at Manchester College of Art and Design stood me in good stead for a career doing what I love. The award of Associateship of the British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP) was recognition of the quality of my work and, some years later, I was honoured by being made National President of the BIPP.
After a few years as a commercial photographer in the North West and in Norfolk, I was a founding partner of GGS Photo Graphics, which became a leading creative media business based in Norwich. We had 2 studios and photographed everything from furniture to food, industry and people.
Having retired from GGS, my desire to create beautiful images continues, so I am bringing that skill and experience to personal portraiture. My aim is to provide something above the norm, with creativity and careful lighting to bring out personality and character.
